SCORE "Counselors to America's Small Business" is a nonprofit association dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth and success of small business nationwide.  Both working and retired executives and business owners donate time and expertise as business counselors. SCORE, founded in 1964, is a Resource Partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration.  Houston, TX Chapter of SCORE, with more than 70 counselors, has been helping entrepreneurs and small business owners in Houston for over 40 years.  SCORE counselors are experts in such areas as accounting, finance, marketing, management and business plan preparation.

Start Your Own Business is a powerful seminar that is packed with information, tips, and techniques that you need in order to start your own business. This all-in-one seminar guides you through the start-up process. Three major topics will be presented: understanding and creating a business plan development, developing a marketing plan, and cash management. This course is targeted at existing business owners and those who are ready to but have not yet taken the business leap.
