The programs, designed and taught by professional instructors from the Institute of Reading Development, help participants develop and improve skills in phonics, comprehension, vocabulary, and speed reading. Each of the eight reading skills programs is targeted to the needs of students of a specific age and/or grade-level:
Each program meets once a week over a five-week period, and the first of two summer sessions begins on the HBU campus on Saturday, June 5. A second five-week summer session on the HBU campus begins Saturday, July 17. Registration began March 25 and continues through June 30.
